This is the documentary about the magnificent artist Nico. She started out as a model, working for fashion magazines & houses...among them are Vogue, Elle, & Coco Chanel. She did work as an actress in such films like Un nomme La Rocca and Strip-Tease. She then took singing lessons and eventually released her first single I'm Not Sayin'." She then worked with the music group The Velvet Underground on their debut album "The Velvet Underground & Nico," which she provided lead vocals on "Femme Fatale" "All Tomorrow's Parties" "I'll Be Your Mirror" & backing vocals on "Sunday Morning." She then had success as a solo artist with her albums "Chelsea Girl" & "The Marble Index," among others. She eventually died in 1988 from cerebral hemorrhage. However, she lives on today with her music among her family, friends, and fans.
This is not the best documentary, but one of the few about Nico. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to get interested in this wonderful woman's work.
