Greetings Motor Racing Fans,

This is a High Resolution video of the American Le Mans Series Finale road race #11, the Monterey Sports Car Challenge, held at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey California on 18Oct2008.

It was broadcast the next day by NBC Sports in HDTV 1080i format. It was recorded using a Dvico FusionHDTV7 PCI TV-PVR card in MPEG-TP format at 1920x1080 resolution, 16:9, and 48KHz Dolby 5.1 audio. Then it was edited using VideoReDo to remove all of the commercials and station breaks, a few glitches, and a little bit of the non-relevant program fluff. The resulting 9GB video was encoded into MPEG-4 H.264 format at 1440x816 resolution using MediaCoder from SourceForge.

The quality of the final video is excellent and focuses just on the race action. The work took over 100 hours to produce. I hope you enjoy it.
