Britain From Above is the new landmark series from the BBC and sets out to show how the country works and the best way to see it working is from above. It will investigate Britain's past and show how analysing the country from an aerial perspective can reveal much about the future.
The programme will show how satellites are now used to monitor change - including traffic flow and weather systems, how they document 'Secret Britain', record farmers' land use, assists hosepipe bans, log the flow of pollutants and also how councils are planning to use them to set council taxes.
