Following the success of 2004's definitive Elton John DVD set, The Dream Ticket, Elton John and Best Buy release The Red Piano collection.

Thousands of fans have traveled to Caesars Palace, Las Vegas to see over 200 shows, helping The Red Piano break records and set new standards for musical entertainment. This DVD/CD set, available only at Best Buy and Best Buy online promises to bring this amazing entertainment experience to Elton John fans across North America.

Available as a 2DVD/2CD set in standard definition or 1 Blu-ray disc/2CD set in high-definition, as well as a 3LP Premium vinyl set, the concert features the 14-song performance of The Red Piano show including all of the fan favorites such as "Candle in the Wind," "Believe" and "Rocket Man." The DVD and Blu-ray discs feature a documentary about the making of The Red Piano show, including footage of Elton discussing the genesis of the show.

The show debuted to critical acclaim in February 2004, with reviews proclaiming it as "A must-see" and noting that Elton is "still standing" as an indestructible talent. Using a red piano as a starting point, Elton enlisted his friend and photographer David LaChapelle to develop art and imagery that would complement the music and enhance the experience for the audience.

Featuring multi-color neon sculpture, pop art, inflatables, baubles, balloons and the band, the production raises the bar for Las Vegas performance. Viewers may have a good time just taking the show in at its surface (lights, inflatables and colors), or use their imagination to find the deeper meanings in the show.

Discussing the show, Elton said, "It's what I am like from an artistic point of view.It's fun, it's deep, it's the songs I really love and it gives me a chance to get across what I am all about, visually as well as musically."

Notes: According to rules and standards, CDs were ripped with EAC (with proper settings, offsets, gap detection, etc.) and encoded with FLAC (level 8) with tags. The DVDs were ripped with DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD (to defeat more copy protection) with proper settings to create the untouched, uncompressed DVD-Video ISO image files and MDS files. DVD Decrypter Logs provided along with MD5 Checksums. Full Artwork Included.
