Hello again folks! This is one of my favorite first person shooters. Everything you need is included with this release.
The game itself has a very "survivor" feel to it. You are a lone man, dubbed a Stalker, trying to survive in an area about 30 km square directly outside of Chernobyl. This game is exceptionally non-linear for an fps, basically allowing you to go anywhere your skills will allow you to go. Not only will other people with guns be your enemy in this game, but the environment as well, as the ambient radiation levels have begun corrupting everything from the animals to the ecosystem around you. I would delve into more detail about this game but it would ruin the surprise factor involved.
Be prepared for a challenge, this game is not easy. Be prepared to think. This game does not tolerate a "run'n'gun" attitude most people have with fps's. Most of all, be prepared to be scared. I can name many many points that this game literally had me jumping outta my chair.
I was very very impressed by this game. Most of all because I truly heard almost nothing of it during the production phase. I love games that surprise me
