Crucified Barbara, all-female band, was formed in 1998 in Stockholm, Sweden, as a punk rock band, but they speedily shifted their style to heavy metal.
They signed in 2003 with GMR music group of Stockholm. Recordings took place in Kristianopel, Sweden at Pama Studios/Blakk Records with producer-engineer Mankan Sedenberg during the spring of 2004.
The single, for the debut album "In Distortion We Trust", was "Losing The Game". It was released on 8 December 2005 and went straight to number 8 on the Swedish Hitlist.
Since then the band has been touring (supporting Pain, In Flames, Motörhead, Sepultura, festivals Sweden Rock Festival, Masters of Rock, Gods of Metal, Metal Dayz...) in Europe, Australia...

Influenced by bands like the Runaways and Girlschool, Crucified Barbara’s first album tracks are fast, heavy, and dirty with good melodies, but overall the album maintains a hard hitting abrasive rock sound. A great band and a fun time album. Their upcoming release "Til Death Do Us Party" is announced november 2008.
