The Tomorrow People are British teens who have special powers. They can communicate to each other using telepathy. They can also transport themselves [they call it "Jaunting"]. With the help of Tim their talking computer they battle the bad people of earth and space.

Season 1, Episode 1: The Slaves of Jedikiah: Part 1

A teenage boy, Stephen Jameson, collapses in the street while being observed by three other youngsters-John, Carol and Kenny-who communicate with each other telepathically.Later, Carol contacts Stephen at the hospital and informs him he has broken out as one of the Tomorrow People, the next stage of human evolution.However, he has also come to the attention of others.

Stephen has been abducted from the hospital by Ginger and Lefty, who take him to the mysterious Jedikiah. John, Carol and Kenny attempt to locate him and get him safely back to the lab.

Stephen, now under Jedikiah's control, has let Ginger and Lefty into the lab where they are soon joined by Jedikiah.John and Carol realise TIM has been deactivated and attempted to return to the lab, only to find Jedikiah has set up a forcefield which leaves them trapped in hyperspace.

John, Carol and Stephen recover to find Jedikiah has left, taking Kenny with him. They follow them back to the mansion in order to perform a rescue only to discover Jedikiah has set a trap for them.

John and Stephen jaunt up to Cyclops' spaceship in an attempt to rescue Kenny, Ginger and Lefty. There they finally meet the Cyclops and discover the real reason why he wants telepaths.
