The music itself instills both sorrow and wonder.

The Gregorian chants create a profound understanding of society from the time
of the unfortunate demise of Rome to the transition into Enlightened society.

The Latin lyrics contain so much more spirituality than "contemporary" Christian
music (which is usually Protestant).

If you do not understand the lyrics, I suggest studying the basic rules of
Latin and becoming cognizant of the connection between the roots of Latin in English.

If that does not solve the problem, it is not too difficult to find the lyrics
online or in a store. (note: if you are going to try to 'chant' along, first
really learn correct pronounciation and tone inflections)
