Ok, wow? Yes this is the only thing that comes to mind while im playing through this game for the first time.
Picture this, you're a search/rescue team sent out to find the missing crew of a mining ship. You get in system, find the mining colony, and more specifically the ship you're looking for. Lets dock. Well, for some reason, during docking, a small problem happens and your ship gets damaged beyond repair. Hey, at least we made it inside right? We can hook up with the crew and figure out a way outta here once we fix the mining ships communication systems.
Well, turns out the whole station is empty as far as you can tell on first glance, and also under quarantine for an unknown reason. Well, if you really wanna know the reason, look at the screenshots. Ick.
Anyway, game is freaking SCARY. Remember trying to play Doom 3 back in the day with all the lights out and headphones or something on, and how no matter HOW hard you tried, the imp jumping outta a wall always made *you* jump? Yeah, this game has a LOT of those moments.
Gameplay, picture a third-person shooter interface very similar to Gears of War or Mass Effect, and throw in a whole bunch of atmosphere from the likes of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alone in the Dark. The game has a very interesting camera system, which i have to say, adds to the creepy effect as you struggle with monsters that really can sneak up on you and make a new pair of shorts a reality.
I'm not gonna get too much further into things because i don't want to ruin the surprise/wow factor involved, but rest assured. If you system can handle this game, you should give it a shot. I haven't played anything even similar to this for a long long time.

My screen shots, by the way, are a mix of PC, X box 360 and PS3 screens, sorry, game is still too new to find specific screens from only PC version. However, the PC version looks the best by far with the right hardware.
Instructions, crack, and anything else you might need (short of a new video card, i got a 4850 for this, and it runs it flawlessly on max settings) are in the torrent.
This one, I will need help seeding folks. 7+ gigs on a home dsl line can be a bit harsh, but i will do my side, and if those of you that start this with me hang in there, you will have an amazingly cool game.
