The Extra file "018 1Enoch_int" is included here upon request and adds several interpolations to help the reader understand who several of the key animals are related to.
This translation takes heavily from the Ethiopic, but includes all of the additional fragments of both the Aramaic and Greek. The most significant addition to this book is the additional information about the three classes
of Giants; the great giants, the Nephilim, and the Elioud. The Hebrew word (Elioud)derives from two root words, El, and Howd. In Hebrew, El means "Gods or godlike," and Howd means "imposing in form, to be praised." This last class of giants was made from the mixing of one animal with another, very similar to what is found in Egyptian Mythology.
Most of the other additions are minor, but help to better explain what has been assumed by scholars, and to provide a more accurate rendition of what the author intended.
