Hey Monday (formerly Blake) is a rock/powerpop band from West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. The band consists of Cassadee Pope (lead vocals), Jersey Moriarty (bass guitar), Mike Gentile (lead guitar), Alex Lipshaw (rhythm guitar), and Elliot James (drums). The band is signed to Columbia Records and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz's label, Decaydance. Their debut album Hold on Tight is set to debut on October 7th, 2008. Their single "Homecoming" was featured on the CitizensFOB mix-tape. Lead singer Cassadee was also featured in the song "Take My Hand" by The Cab on the mixtape.

Hey Monday will be the opening band for The Cab's headlining tour "Why So Serious? Tour" in September 2008. They will be joined by with This Providence and A Rocket To The Moon. In October and November Hey Monday will be again the opener for The Academy Is...'s and We The Kings co-headlining national tour called "Bill & Trav's Bogus Journey Tour" joined by Carolina Liar. It kicks off October 1st, 2008 and ends on November 23, 2008.
