I bought this disc after seeing it mentioned as a test/demo disc in several reviews of early DVD-Audio players. If you want to show off your subwoofer and surround sound setup, this is a great disc with which to do so. When my dad got a new Velodyne DD18 subwoofer, this is the disc I brought over. It even conveniently opens with the most dramatic and bassy piece, "Toccata and Fugue". . . a song I grew up thinking of as "The Phantom of the Opera." Track 11, "Passacaglia and Fugue" is a close second.
Unfortunately, as with Beethoven's 9th from Teldec, this one plays an ad after the content finishes.
