Avril Ramona Lavigne born 27 September 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records. In 2002 she released her debut album, Let Go, which made Lavigne the youngest female soloist to have a number 1 album in the UK.
My World is the first DVD released by her. The DVD consists of 16 songs that Lavigne performed on her first live performance tour, the Try to Shut Me Up Tour at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York. Most of the tracks are taken from her debut album, Let Go, while two of the songs are covers. And a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her amazing life.
