After starting his journey next to a group of dwarves and Gandalf ( Ian McKellen ) , Bilbo Baggins ( Martin Freeman ) goes towards the Lonely Mountain , which should help his fellow mission to return to the Stone Arken , which will make Thorin ( Richard Armitage ) get the respect of all the dwarves and support in the fight to regain his kingdom .
