» Spaghetti western hero Terence Hill plays the title role--sort of--in Genius. A self-styled expert on Native Americans, Joe Thanks (Hill) champions the Indians\' cause in the face of white hostility. The action scenes are convincing, even when offset by the tongue-in-cheek nature of the script. The incomparable Miou-Miou shows up as the heroine, while Klaus Kinski tries to take things seriously as a bandit. Ennio Morricone\'s score manages to pay homage to his earlier work in the films of Sergio Leone while still upholding the light-hearted nature of Genius. The film was also released as Un Genio, Due Compari, Un Pollo.
