Beschrijving
De eigenzinnige FBI-agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) wil een aantal onopgeloste zaken onderzoeken die de \"X-Files\" worden genoemd.Hij gelooft dat bij deze zaken buitenaardse wezens zijn betrokken. Om zijn werk in de gaten te houden en zijn theorieën te ondermijnen, wijst de FBI hem een partner toe: Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson). Dana is een jonge, sceptische agente die gediplomeerd is in medicijnen en sterk geloofd in de wetenschap.
