Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) probeert Engeland te redden uit handen van een
gevaarlijke Fransoos

Tijdens de begrafenis van een Britse topagent wordt de hele elite van de Britse
geheime dienst uitgeschakeld door een bom. Noodgedwongen neemt MI7 zn toevlucht tot
Johnny English, een der lagere werknemers die niet bepaald bekend staat om zijn
bekwaamheid. Onder zijn ogen worden de Britse Kroonjuwelen gestolen. Het is dus
crisis in Engeland, zeker wanneer de Fransman Pascal Sauvage de Koningin van haar
troon wil verstoten om zelf over Engeland te regeren. Met zijn trouwe assistent
Bough stort Johnny zich op geheel eigen en lachwekkende wijze op het onderzoek.

Voor de rol van een slungelige spion ben je bij Rowan Mr. Bean Atkinson aan het
goede adres. Het personage Johnny English is gebaseerd op een soort anti-James
Bond die hij eerder speelde in een reeks televisiereclames voor Barclaycard. Naast
Atkinson is John Malkovich te zien als de grote Franse slechterik, en maakt zangeres
Natalie Imbruglia haar speelfilmdebuut.

Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) tries to rescue England from the hands of a
dangerous Frenchman

During the funeral of a British top agents, the entire elite of the British secret
service turned off by a bomb. Forced to take refuge in his MI7 Johnny English, one
of the lower employees not exactly known for his ability. Under his eyes, the
British Crown Jewels stolen. It is crisis in England, especially when the Frenchman
Pascal Sauvage, the Queen from her throne to cast itself to rule England. With his
trusty assistant Bough Johnny collapsed on its own and hilarious way to the study.

For the role of a spy, you lanky at Rowan Mr.. Bean Atkinson at the right place.
The character Johnny English is based on an anti-James Bond before he starred in a
series of television commercials for Barclaycard. Atkinson, John Malkovich next be
seen as the great French villain, and makes her feature film debut singer Natalie
Imbruglia.
