WORKAROUND ORIGINS

After downloading a copy of the 2008/2009 image of the Official DSA Theory Test, I thought great, I nabbed me a beauty... lets begin learning! :D

Like you, when I started using this program and realised the EXE seems intelligent enough to determine you have actually installed this from an emulation program... I was a little bewildered, but grew frustrated when all my attempts to thwart the macrovision security had failed. I used DAEMON TOOLS but had limited success no matter what I did.

I am just a fellow P2P individual such as your good selves and realised through trial and error that after replacing the macrovision wrapped EXE version of the DSATT file with a copy I had purchased from 2005, that this program appeared to work perfectly.

DISABLE DISC PROMPT

Do remember that you will be prompted for the disc extremely frequently unless you manually set the TURN VOICE OFF feature. You will not need this feature anyway, unless you really want someone else narrating the questions and answers.

BUG WARNING
-----------

If you revise the ATTITUDE part of the theory test, the program thinks you have taken a customised test. So when you come to ANALYSE YOUR TEST PERFORMANCE, you will find that under the CUSTOMISED TESTS section, the revision behaves like a mock test and will indicate if you have either PASSED or FAILED which is really annoying.

DSATT EXE FILE VERSIONS

The 2005 version of this EXE is actually version 1.0.0.0 of the file and only 372KB. The macrovision encapsulated 2008/2009 file is 1.5.0.0 and a whoppingly bloated 5,320KB.

Without this disc image, I wouldnt have had anything to work with. Needless to say I passed my test in April 2011 with a fantastic 50/50 and currently in the middle of taking lessons to finally but my provisional license to rest permanently.

I created this torrent as a way to say thanks, and to enable a community of hungry learners to get in the driving seat. I was there once and now im on my way to get a full license thanks to this workaround that brough fruition. I hope this helps all of you :)
