Description:
In the past, plucky Stacey Dooley has investigated
sweatshops, sex-trafficking and the plight of child soldiers
in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Yet for her latest
expos, she jets off to what at first appears to be paradise: a
plush hotel on the picture-perfect Thai island of Phuket.
Less glamorous are the shacks where the staff dwell and
struggle on meagre wages. Dooley then drops in on a
fishing community forced off its land by developers, before
she joins 20,000 hip Westerners who flock to the beach
for an extremely messy party
