Genoa, 1943. Teglio Massimo is a welcome guest in the circles of the Italian elite.
The young pilot is personal friends with Italo Balbo, Minister of Aviation under the fascist Mussolini.
Massimo accepts the challenge by seaplane to fly to Milan, thus bringing a drug that will save the life of a Nazi.
Flying is his passion and his life, he accomplishes this mission but reluctantly. For Teglio Massimo is Jewish.
When the commander of German troops in Genoa found that Massimo is a Jew, he gave instructions to arrest him. Massimo manages to escape.
And when the mass deportation of the Jews of Genoa gets going, the brave pilot not watch helplessly ..........
