HQ rare 1976 live performance music video. Evil Woman is a song written and performed by Electric Light Orchestra.

First released on the bands fifth album, 1975s Face the Music. Released as a single in late-1975, the song became the bands first worldwide hit. According to Jeff Lynne this song was the quickest he had ever written, in thirty minutes, originally as filler for the groups Face the Music album. The song placed in the top ten on both sides of the Atlantic in early-1976. The song became a hit again in the UK in 1978 when it featured on the ELO EP. The lyric Theres a hole in my head where the rain comes in is a tribute to The Beatles song Fixing a Hole.

Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) were a British rock group from Birmingham, who released eleven studio albums between 1971 and 1986 and another album in 2001. ELO were formed to accommodate Roy Wood and Jeff Lynnes desire to create modern rock and pop songs with classical overtones. After Woods departure following the bands debut record, Lynne wrote and arranged all of the groups original compositions and produced every album.
