uploader\'s editorial comments:

Color me disappointed, but hopeful.

In this inaugural episode, Judge Nap assembled current, former, and hopeful politicians to probe the differences between the Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian parties particularly as they compare to the Tea Party Movement.

I found it personally a little grating to see Sarah Palin once again stood up as the de facto figurehead for the Tea Party Movement (I think it might just be true what others have said about her trying to muscle in and take over the movement to ride it to the betterment of her own political career. I loved to see her during the Pres. campaign, but now...sorry to her fans, I just don\'t care for her anymore. At. All.).

Palin also espouses a starkly pro-strong-gov\'t-regulation sort of point of view which has me all the more convinced that any future political win on her part would result in not some sort of Tea Party reformer of government, but rather a cookie-cutter Establishment Republican operative. Dunno about you guys, but that\'s not for me. If she had real gov\'t power, would we get a free/unfettered market? I don\'t think so.

Since Judge Nap left \"Brian & The Judge\" to do this show, I\'ll be making the effort to upload \"Freedom Watch\" instead of his former radio show. I hope he takes a page from Stossel and takes some fresh looks at the issues of personal liberties and the role of government in society. I would be very disappointed if his show continues in the format it used for this episode. I don\'t mind politicos as occasional guests (i.e. the Ron Paul-type), but we already have enough of these politician chat-shows all over their parent network.

What might be refreshing is a format were Judge Nap is more involved from his personal experience and scholarship, not just playing the moderator. How about shows exploring the development of our style of the rule of law and how it\'s deformed for good or ill? How about exposes of egregious abuses of government power? How about a Stossel tag-team? Judge Nap has such a deep knowledge of the law that I\'d consider it a waste if his own personal wisdom on topics wasn\'t a major part of the show. Make \"Lies the Government Told You\" come to life baby! I recognize such show ideas would require real hard work for the production staff, are they up to it?

I\'ll be hopin\' for the best here. I\'d hate to see the spiffy show graphics go to waste.
