SINOPSIS
François Vatel es el leal y devoto sirviente del arruinado Príncipe de Condé. El Príncipe necesita recuperar el favor del rey Luis XIV, y espera que éste le otorgue el mando de las tropas de una nueva campaña contra los holandeses. Para ello encarga a Vatel que organice, sin escatimar en gastos, una recepción a la totalidad de la Corte de Versalles en su castillo de Chantilly. Las fiestas durarán tres días y tres noches...
