INTRO

Hello, I'm Tagaziel and I'm a student of law. I have a Certificate of Proficency in English and rudimentary understanding of Russian, so I decided to fix the low quality Bear translation (as he himself has said) and provide all my fellow stalkers with a decidedly more enjoyable gameplay experience.

INSTALLATION

To install, just unpack the file into your STALKER: Call of Pripyat directory. Unpack "Translation.zip" for just the translation and "fsgame.zip" for a modified fsgame.ltx (so that you don't have to fiddle with the settings).

Place the gamedata folder and fsgame.ltx in your CoP root directory (where stalker-cop.exe is located)

To uninstall, simply delete the configs folder in your gamedata directory.

ISSUES

1. Weapon upgrades are not translated properly, since I am not an expert in firearms. If anyone would be willing to help me fix them, I'd gladly accept the help.
2. Cutscenes remain without subtitles, as I'm no scripter. If anyone would be willing to help me add subtitles to them, I'd be very grateful.
3. If you add the translation halfway through the game, NPCs that have spawned already won't have new names. That's an engine quirk. Everything else will be translated.
