Temporary Pleasure is the second album from Simian Mobile Disco. It is announced to be released on August 17, 2009 on Wichita Recordings. It will be available in LP, CD and deluxe limited edition CD formats.



The album was recorded throughout 2008 and 2009, in the band's studio in East London. Taking time during their world tour of DJing and performing live, they recorded with guests such as Beth Ditto (from Gossip) and Alexis Taylor (from Hot Chip).

The release of the album will be preceded by the release of a new single Audacity of Huge (featuring Chris Keating from Yeasayer) on August 3, 2009. Prior to its release, the band is streaming a low quality version of the single on their official website since May 22, 2009.
