New Iberia, Lt. Dave Robicheaux is trying to link the murder of a local hooker
to New Orleans mobster Julie (Baby Feet) Balboni, who is co-producer of a Civil
War film. Film-star Elrod Sykes, pulled over for drunk driving, starts babbling
about founding another corpse back in the Atchafalaya Swamp, presumably of a
black man Robicheaux had seen being murdered 35 years before but didn\'t go to the
police.
