Alice Hamilton is een jonge, martial arts instructrice met bindingsangst. Toen ze tien was, verliet haar vader haar en haar moeder zonder een woord of waarschuwing wat een enorm effect had op haar. Ze heeft hoge hoop dat haar nieuwe liefde, Jack Chase, wel eens \'de juiste\' kan zijn. Ze krijgt het echter benauwd zodra Jack haar een enorme verlovingsring wil schenken welke voor generaties in zijn familie is geweest. Ze wijst hem de deur waardoor hij recht in de armen loopt van een aantal mysterieuze, goed geklede mannen die het op de ring hebben voorzien. Nadat Alice het doorheeft dat Jack de ring in haar zak heeft laten glijden voordat hij weg ging, achtervolgt ze één van de ontvoerders, de man in wit.

Alice Hamilton is a young, martial arts instructor with commitment issues. At the age of ten, her father left the family without warning or word and it\'s had long-lasting effect on her. She has high hopes that her new love, Jack Chase, might be \"the one\" but when he offers her a spectacular engagement ring that has been passed down for generations in Jack\'s family, true to form, she panics and sends him packing...directly into the arms of a mysterious, well-dressed gang of men who are out to nab Jack and the valuable jewel. Realizing that Jack has slipped the ring into her pocket before leaving, Alice pursues one of his captors, a man in a white suit.
