Description:
SUPER is a popular graphical front-end for several widely-used freeware command-line video encoders. In other words, SUPER lets you use the best command-line encoders without having to actually learn their commands.
Video encoders are used to convert video in a number of ways, such as between different formats or video codecs, changing framerates, bitrates, and dimensions, among others. The accompanying audio can also be converted in many different ways.
SUPER includes 3 popular freeware encoders: FFmpeg, MEncoder, and ffmpeg2theora. You never have to learn to use them though -- simply open up the graphical interface, click your desired options, and hit start.
SUPER can still be a challenge, as it\'s not the most solidly-written program on earth, and it\'s also painfully evident that English was not the author\'s first language. Still, for the average user it beats using the command line, and it is the most full-featured application of its kind.

Some notes:
When you first start SUPER, it MAY be in \"Muxing\" mode. Muxing is the process of merging a video stream and an audio stream into a single movie file (a new feature to this version of SUPER). To get to the regular converter, look in the very upper-left corner of the window, where you\'ll see two radio buttons (option buttons) with no labels, just a menu next to it. Ignore the menu and click the top radio button. The good old SUPER video converter options will then be displayed. If the top radio button is already chosen, you\'re already in converter mode.
