In Barbie en de Magie van Pegasus, haar eerste sprookjesprinsesfilm, gaat Barbie vliegen. Prinses Annika (Barbie) ontdekt het avontuur als ze vriendschap sluit met Brietta - een prachtig gevleugeld paard - dat haar naar meeneemt naar het mooie koninkrijk in de wolken. Annika heeft maar drie dagen de tijd om de vloek van Wenlock te verbreken, een boosaardige tovenaar die de koninklijke familie in steen heeft veranderd. In haar strijd tegen Wenlock ontmoet Annika nieuwe vrienden waarmee ze naar het verboden bos reist, door ijsgrotten schaatst en boven de wolken vliegt op zoek naar de magische toverstaf van licht.

In Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus, her first princess fairytale movie, Barbie goes flying. Princess Annika (Barbie) discovers adventure when she friends with Brietta - a magnificent winged horse - that takes her to the beautiful kingdom in the clouds. Annika has only three days the time to break the curse of Wenlock, an evil sorcerer that the royal family has turned to stone. In its fight against Wenlock Annika meets new friends with whom she travels to the forbidden forest, through ice caves and skate flies above the clouds looking for the magic wand of light.
