series which examines natural disasters -- such as hurricanes,
earthquakes, floods, epidemics, etc. -- and questions whether
such catastrophic life-changing events are just the so-called
work of "Mother Nature", or if there is an even greater force,
perhaps an intelligent force, behind these events. Are such
disasters merely the result of changes in meteorological and
geological conditions, or is it possible that there are other
factors or forces at play here?
