This is the latest Soft Mod Pack. It works on all Wii System versions from 3.0 to 4.2.

If you already have a Modded Wii, Download this torrent for the Extras.

For those of you who are not sure what the a Wii Soft Mod is, It removes the need to get a Chip installed on your Wii. It installs the Homebrew Channel (to play Hombrew applications such as emulators and home made games) and NeoGammaR7 (to load backup games directly from DVD or USB Hard drives (v4.x only)).

I have written and included the instructions which should be NooB proof.

WARNING
Installing custom software on your Wii could potentially harm your system and void the warranty. IPTorrents, the uploader (me) and the developers take no responsibility for your actions. If all steps in the Instruction files are followed correctly you will have no issues.

It has been tested by myself on Wii System versions 3.3, 3.4, 4.0 and 4.2 and all worked without any issues.

I have split this into 2 Softmod packages both included in this torrent. The first package is for all systems with version 3.0 to 4.1, the second is for version 4.2.
I recommend updating to version 4.2 via the Wii Updater (as of Oct 28 2009) as it supports the SDHC memory cards up to 32GB and USB functionality.

Before you begin, check what system software you have. To do this,
- turn on your Wii
- click the Wii Options Icon in the bottom left
- click Wii settings
- Look up the top right, it should say Ver. 3.xx or 4.xx
This is needed to determin which version of the Softmod you need to install.

What's needed:
- Wii Console
- WiiMote
- SD Card (2GB or less for the install and then any size after the install)
- The files from this torrent
- WinRAR or 7Zip to extract the files

Make sure you Backup your SD card before you begin if you want to keep any files that are on it.

There are 3 folders in this torrent:
- 3.0-4.1 (is for all Systems with Version 3.0 to 4.1. )
- 4.2 (is for system software 4.2 only.)
- Extras for After Softmod (has Homebrew Browser and emulators with games)

Using the incorrect one shouldn't harm your system, you will just get an error message.

Installation Instructions:
Select the folder you wish to use and open the Instructions.txt file. All the information you need to install the Soft mod or the extra's are in there.

I have not included the instructions here as there are 3 sets of instructions and this description would be too long.
