Hare's adaptation of his acclaimed stage play. It explores the
nature of addiction - whether to drink, to relationships, or to
business. Recovering alcoholic Paul Peplow is hired by
millionaire Victor Quinn as a copywriter for his successful
business. Quinn has a young wife, Elsa, who has also been
