This is got to be the worst dvd source I've ever worked with. The state of the structure is so bad that my pc won't play back the dvd and most dvd players peoredicaly hitch for a good few seconds at the vob end/vob start.
The first 3 minutes of the movie are a bit rough. The source displays similar issues/errors. ( black specks, scratches, fading, colour distortion ) Remember, this is an old movie.
Despite huge black borders top and bottom and the craziest anamorphic setup I've ever seen, I still managed to keep the origional 2.35:1 ratio.
This is ridley scott's 2003 directors cut in which scenes were added, some removed and some things redone.
The movie is the special feature from the first disk of the 9 disk quadrilogy box set. Each movie disk contains the theatrical version and a special version.
The other three film's I plan on uploading are special extended editions, one of wich includes a new start.
