MythPeople gave us a sneak peek at their upcoming fantasy-themed time management game, Miriel the Magical Merchant, which is being published by RealArcade. Your goal is to help Miriel serve customers a variety of products including apples and strawberries, beverages, bread and cakes – but there's something a little bit unusual about this girl...
Through magic, Miriel is actually able to make the goods hover in the air in front of her instead of holding them – a neat delivery method that allows her to carry a lot of things at the same time. In the demo, in fact, we saw her stack as many as six products on top of each other.
There are more than 60 levels across six worlds, each with its own original atmosphere and set to a rousing medieval soundtrack. Miriel will encounter 13 different customer types and 19 different types of food to make. Players can also unlock the recipes to the food items to try to make them at home.
Perhaps the most intriguing part of Miriel the Magic Merchant is a branching storyline with 13 possible endings – the fate of Miriel is truly in your hands.
