US, August 27, 2008 - N+ first introduced itself to the world in the form of N, a free flash game that made its rounds on the Internet before jumping over to Xbox Live Arcade and donning the + sign. A very straight-forward platformer that put you in control of a gold-loving ninja, N+ is now hitting the PSP and DS in order to bring the fast and generally lethal antics of the stick-figure jumper to a new crowd. I definitely enjoyed the PSP version of N+, though I'm not sure I reacted in the same way that Daemon did when he reviewed the DS version of SilverBirch Studios' platformer. While both the PSP and DS versions are unique in terms of level design, their gameplay is the same: guide your ninja through a series of gray environments, collecting gold to extend your time limit.
N+ literally has hundreds of stages to check out, all of which are organized into five-room episodes that can be replayed as many times as you like. The ultimate goal in any one room is to touch a large green switch that opens a door to the next room. Touching that door will grant you access to other rooms and -- subsequently -- future episodes
