Since his first mixed martial arts fight in 1996 Matt has traveled from Japan to Abu Dhabi
and all across the U.S.A. to become the most dominate UFC welterweight champion of all time.
Disc 1 is the story of where Matt is from,there are interviews with Matts twin brother
Mark,who himself could probably do well in the MMA world,his parents,friends[of which Matt has plenty
as you might imagine]and high school and college coaches.There is footage of Matts first fight where
he only won $100,and some brief footage of his college wrestling days.After watching this video you\'ll
see that Matt is a simple man living a charmed existence,he is a man who puts god and family before
all others,when he\'s not helping a friend or making an appearance,you would most likely find him
bouncing around on one of his tractors or spending time with his family.
Disc 2 Matt shows you his business side and takes you through nearly 2 hours of instruction
on how to whoop somebody\'s butt!The nine time UFC welterweight champ will start you with the basic
concepts of knowing your environment,researching your opponent and choosing your corner men,Matt gives
you tips on how to train for an upcoming fight,covers stand up fighting,kicks and closing the distance.
And it will come as no surprise to anyone who has seen Matt fight that he also includes instruction on
the ground and pound style of which he is famous,covering take downs,striking on the ground,submissions
and submission defense.
On disc 2 there were some sync problems that i was able to mostly correct but one small anamoly
remains,but is close enough that i hope it doesn\'t annoy to any great extent.
Matt Hughes is a great champion in and out of the octagon.He\'s down to earth and very approachable
and if you ever have a chance to meet the man himself don\'t be shy,just walk up and say hi.
