CEPLIS or Brick Kiln is story about a powerful man with ingenuity.
He lives in 1930s Latvia - industrially and agriculturally developed country at the time having a society that supposes it has the manners of French bourgeoisie.
Edgars Ceplis is a business man who establishes a JSC CEPLIS (Kiln) involving other grand men in business and politics that are lured by a slogan MADE IN LATVIA.
Having fun with his secretary and terrorizing his accountant - in his opinion - his wife's lover, Ceplis learns that his brick production is useless. With a help of his wise wife he makes a cunning plan how to save his name and cash leaving the dirty scene as clean as a new born child.
