Treasure Hunt - Complete Series 4

Two studio-bound contestants, aided by ex-newsreader Kenneth Kendall, have to solve five cryptic clues to guide the Skyrunner (played by Anneka Rice) around a course, each clue leading to the next. When the final clue was solved, this would lead to the treasure and a top prize of £1000 for the contestants.

The series ran from 1983 to 1989 on Channel 4, with Anneka not appearing in the last series, but instead replaced by ex-tennis player, Annabel Croft. The series was resurrected in 2002 and 2003 by the BBC, with the Skyrunner role being taken by Suzi Perry, and Dermot Murnaghan taking the Kenneth Kendall role.

Certainly a popular series from the 80s, and a lot of it's charm has to be down to the enthusiasm of Anneka Rice and her banter with both Kenneth and her crew and pilot (Graham, Frank and Keith). The BBC version was just as enjoyable as the Anneka years, with Suzi Perry making a good Skyrunner, but the show suffered from a complete lack of promotion, and was cancelled when viewing figures did not live up to expectation.

This 80's series was recorded from the Family Channel repeats in the mid-90's and quality is very good, resulting in fairly high file sizes.
