I have two hard drives, each a Maxtor at 120 GB. Because of the way it was initially partitioned, I had a music partition on each hard drive. Same goes for video. This is a very annoying setup, in that at many times I have to search multiple partitions to find a particular song or a video. Someone suggested that I merge some partitions, in effect creating one big partition for music and one for video. The program that was suggested to do this was Norton Partition Magic, by Symantec. I figured, "Hey, Symantec puts out some pretty decent products. I can trust them." This was helped by a few of my friends swearing up and down that their experiences with the program were 100% positive. Soon, I would find the lies and deceit of those testimonials.
