ABOUT THE ELASTIC BAND

August Eadon went by the name Ted Yeadon when he was a member of Elastic Band, a band he formed in 1967. From North Wales, they were one of the exponents of the UK psychedelic scene from the late 60’s and featured Andy Scott who would go on to become guitarist with the famous Sweet. Other members were Sean Jenkins (drums) and Mike Scott (bass - Andy's brother). The band broke up in 1969 when Yeadon accepted an offer to join the Love Affair.

Gus Eadon joined Zzebra in 1974, alongside such luminaries as John McCoy (bass, later in Gillan) and Terry Smith (guitar, ex-If) and Dave Quincey (sax, ex-If). Other band members were Loughty Amao (percussion), Liam Genockey (drums) and Tommy Eyre (who played keyboards, uncredited). Gus Eadon went by the name Gus Yeadon for this release - he was the bands lead vocalist and played piano, guitar, flute and clavinet as well.
