It covers everything you ever wanted to know about: Thrash metal. it features over 25 interviews with old school, and new school artists. it covers the bands that started it all, the main ones being Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, and so many more. it also covers the "fans" and why they love this style of music so much, the "dress code" this was my favorite part of the DVD, because I remember those days very well. the black t-shirts, the white high top tennis shoes. the DVD showcases the New York scene, and the LA scene. it contains a segment called "Nu Metal VS New Metal" another great segment is the "Clash Of The Titans" tour. and the bonus features could be a sold as a separate DVD, its that good. it covers other thrash bands from all over the world. there is a map of the world, and you can click on wherever you want to go. there are great segments on Pantera, Exodus, Testament, I could go on and on. when I had finshed watching the 1st DVD, I had thought, "this dvd would have been perfect, if they had covered "Flotsam & Jetsam" and "Metal Church" so what do i see when I put on the bonus disk??? the 2 bands I had just mentioned! this DVD should be in every metalheads collection, and its a good history lesson for the young fans of metal. please go and get this.
