Right this is a mixture of releases, put together to give you the best i can do.
All the video is taken from the russian dvd 9,which was really good...but like all r5's in my eyes
are a touch to dull and usually lack some colour.
The audio .....i have used the original russian audio track for the intro and for the end credits and the rest of the
film i used prevails direct audio.
Why did i use prevails???? Simple i had the dvdr several hrs before any release was out (english audio ones). So i synced it
to prevails as it was direct audio.
The only reason why i am upping this late are :
1.The subs came out after i was already upping this to my ftp
2.when redoing adding subs, noticed i fooked up and it was oos in one part.
So basically i started again
Quite abit.....first thing i had to do was to strip the audio of prevails....Once done i cleaned it up in adobe audition, using a noise filter and
changing the EQ and then resaved it.
Then i imported the dvd 9 into xpress and removed all unwanted menus/extras etc....to leave the film only.At the point i tweaked the video....
increasing the gamma, luma, chroma slightly and i increased the contrast alot.
Also needed to lower the rgb black base then and finally i used a contour filter for some extra sharpness.....Oh also cropped original borders.
Then the hard part syncing .......well actually once i found the start time and end times i actually stretched the audio to match the runtime of the video
as it was smaller in runtime.
This allows for better and easier syncing.I have to make 7 cuts in totally,so not too bad. Also then needed to add the original audio to the intro and to the
ending to make my audio track complete.
Then finally i hardcoded the english subs coalition released.....6 lines only.
Overall v9 a 8 m6......a fine r5 release IMO and i know there is several versions out already and most of them really good......so if you want it grab it,if not
move along and grab something else
