This is a DTS 5.1 conversion created using Plogue Bidule from a lossless stereo source.
Many thanks for the positive feedback on "The Fragile." Here's my surround mix of the rare "Quake" score, with the lossless rip avilable on the net as source material.
A word of warning: I attempted to fix one of the issues the source had, which was cue points which were off by a couple of second on each track. I really couldn't find a way to fix it which was completely to my satisfaction, and decided to leave the cue points as-is. While there shouldn't be any gaps other than what your player may generate (I did do some work on in-between track gaps), each track does begin about a second of two later than it should. My apologies. I am only one man doing this out of his living room.
For those new to what I do, there's a lot of old "upmixed" garbage floating around the net that's a few years old and done by folks who don't take the time, or utilize enough quality control, to get a good surround mix. I've been doing this for three years, and take it very seriously.
