Grange Hill is a British television drama series originally made by the BBC.
The show began in 1978 on BBC1 and was one of the longest running
programmes on British television. It was created by Phil Redmond.

The drama is centred on the fictional comprehensive school of Grange Hill in
the (equally fictitious) borough of north London called "Northam"

EPISODE 23

Vince is spreading drastic stories about what happened with Zammo and Jackie and that Zammo’s in jail. Trevor surprisingly puts things more in perspective and says that Zammo’s actually in hospital. Ant is hiding out in a filthy abandoned house – he tries stealing some fruit from a market stall but fails. Banksie and Mr Kennedy start discussing their running abilities – and who will win the fun run. Mrs McClusky tells Danny he has won the competition for the new GH badge and logo – although he doesn’t seem to care. Miss Booth offers to take Jackie with her to go and see Zammo – but she doesn’t want to go. The Kennedy/Banksie rivalry continues to build over a basketball game. Ant’s father comes to see Mrs McClusky wanting her to move Ant to another form away from Bronson – but she refuses – and says Ant would still have to see Bronson regularly doing languages anyway. Mr Jones threatens to move him to another school. Kevin finds Jackie in the cloakroom crying about Zammo - he comforts her and arranges to go with her to see Zammo at the weekend – and a date with her afterwards. Banksie sees them together and immediately jumps to the wrong conclusion annoying Kevin. Baxter and McClusky are discussing Ant’s leaving – just as Bronson walks in. Baxter gives him a piece of his mind! Mrs Regan goes to see Cheryl and Louise’s aunt who is settling in with them. Miss Booth goes to see Zammo at the drug rehabilitation clinic – he is getting on OK although starts crying when he talks about it. Miss Partridge comes in to give Mrs McClusky her resignation – but she talks her into keeping it quiet while they continue to fight. Ziggy and Robbie are playing around on their bikes when they come across Ant – they try and persuade him to go home – but he claims he was doing just that anyway.
