History
Originally known as the Associated British Pictures Corporation, Elstree Studio was set up in Borehamwood just before the First World War. It was once known as 'British Hollywood' and has provided a glamorous backdrop for many blockbuster films and acclaimed TV productions.

Phenomena
Behind the scenes, the Elstree Studio stars exchanged stories of mysterious sightings, terrifying experiences and bizarre phenomena. On one tree-lined route stands two historic inns with many accounts of tragedy, disease and murder. There have also been numerous sightings in and around the derelict and abandoned film lot.

Investigation
In the Enigma Studios which lie within the walls of Elstree Studios, contact was made with the Rimmer Family who were tormented and had died of the plague. During a table tipping experiment with a candle, the table rocked and the candle eventually toppled over. To end the first night they decided to do a glass divination experiment that connected with an agitated spirit who refused to communicate with the exception of saying 'Goodbye'. As they proceeded the glass spelt the names of the crew sitting around the table followed by spelling out the letters F, U, C and K. Eventually the glass spun off the table and smashed on the floor.

The following day the crew decided to investigate the surrounding town of Elstree. At the Holly Bush pub Jon and Stuart experienced shortness of breath and strangling sensations and needed to be taken outside to recover. The night was concluded with Derek attempting automatic handwriting, he drew a noose and wrote Blood and William. Directly after this he fell into a state of possession collapsing to the floor and has difficulty breathing.

The last night of the investigation the team went back within the Studios to the larger warehouse room where an object was thrown onto metal pipes that were laid across the floor. They attempted an Ouija board experiment while wearing blindfolds yet it resulted in little communication. The night finished with Karl, John and Stuart investigating the Metal Room where they heard some odd noises.
