Torrent description

This torrent is a revised version of the the .srt file that came with the most recent Devise 1000th release edition of District 9. When I played it with the subs, I immediately noticed that there were several problems with the sync and wording in the subs. I ran through the entire film and made the necessary corrections. List of changes are as follows:


-some areas saw mistranslated text. those were replaced.
-some text appearances were mistimed. for those, the timing was edited to better fit the transitions between scenes and to pop up when people are talking (as opposed to before or after they've finished and the scene changed).
-subs were added early on (between the 4:30-5:40 minute mark) where the South Africans were speaking with a heavy accent that made it hard to discern and where translation was nonsensical
-I went through every one of them in the film and edited when necessary.
-enteries were re-numbered in the event you want to convert them to an SAA file or some such.


These subs are significantly better than the originals that came with the release.
