Reggie Kray his last ride was to Chingford Cemetery. He was buried with his brother and next
to his parents.

The film is comprised of actual funeral footage and a couple of talking heads style interviews
with gangsters as they fondly remember Reg.

A "traditional" East End funeral cortege is a sight to behold. 6 teamed beautiful black horses
decked out in victorian death plumes pulling a spectacular hearse Dracula would have been proud
to be seen in were it not for the midday sun, is a rare thing in this day and age but today
we are being pulled back in time to another era.

The Kray brothers are most always talked of fondly and with reverence, gangsters were nicer in
the old days , helping a brother out, you could leave your doors unlocked and there was no crime
back then, ever... While this is slightly a rose tinted view of the gangland London there is no
getting away from the impact and hold the Krays had on London back in the day. As they got older
their celebrity grew and grew so their atrocities were put on the back burner.The Kray brothers
were 'a show' we all watched as we grew up. It seems fitting then that the funeral of the best
loved brother Reggie should be so lavish, well attended and so old school all the way.
