Railway Roundabout - 1959
This is an absolute must-have for any steam fan. This torrent contains a complete and uncompressed copy of the original DVD including chapter structure, etc, and will produce a perfect clone when burned to DVD5.
In the late 1950s and early 1960s the BBC broadcast a series of television programmes called Railway Roundabout. These programmes featured many lines which were later closed and locomotives that were about to disappear forever. Filmed in colour and black and white and produced to professional broadcast standards these titles have stood the test of time and are a real insight into the Steam Era in Britain in the 50s and 60s.
Highlights of this fascinating DVD include views of the ex-GER "E4" at Cambridge and the closing of the Wye Valley line. Heading north we view the traffic on the scenic Skye line which runs from Fort William to Mallaig. Viewers then visit a Worcestershire branch line which is followed by a trip to King's Cross shed. Other locomotives and stock featured include the Midland "compound" number 1000 and the "Brighton Belle."

Note I found the sound quite quiet when viewing on a standalone DVD player, I have compared the original and the clone and the sound levels are exactly the same; this DVD series is just plain quiet. However the sound is still perfectly acceptable when burned and viewed on a standalone player, and is louder when viewed on a computer using VLC, etc.
