Synopsis:
Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is without doubt the best cop in London. Their arrests by 400% than the second best agent in the body. It is so good compared to him, every cop is bad. So his superiors send him to a place where his talents will not put anyone in evidence, to Sandford, a seemingly sleepy and peaceful village. Upon arrival, is assigned a partner, well-meaning but overeager Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent). Danny is a fan of action movies and believes his new partner of the elite is a real police? Bad guy? and this is your opportunity to live gunfire and persecutions that yearn. But Nicholas Angel is soon to say that childish fantasy and heavy when the growing enthusiasm of Danny's get crazy. Interestingly, a series of horrific accidents breaks the stillness of the village and Nicholas Angel finally convinced that Sandford is not what it seems. The intrigue grows, the dangerous and thrilling chases, shootouts with the redoubtable Danny who dreams no longer seem so unreal. It is time that the cops of the people imposing the law of the city.

Sinopsis:
Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) es, sin duda alguna, el mejor policía de Londres. Sus detenciones superan en un 400% al segundo mejor agente del Cuerpo. A su llegada, se le asigna un compañero, el bienintencionado y demasiado entusiasta Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), hijo del amable jefe de policía Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent). Danny es un forofo de las películas de acción y cree que su nuevo compañero de la élite policial es un auténtico ?chico malo? y que esta será su oportunidad de vivir los tiroteos y persecuciones que tanto anhela. Pero Nicholas Angel no tarda en decirle que son fantasías infantiles cuando el creciente y pesado entusiasmo de Danny acaba por sacarle de quicio. Curiosamente, una serie de horrendos accidentes rompe la quietud del pueblo y Nicholas Angel acaba por convencerse de que Sandford no es lo que parece. La intriga crece; las peligrosas y escalofriantes persecuciones, los temibles tiroteos con los que sueña Danny ya no parecen tan irreales. Es hora de que los polis del pueblo impongan la ley de la ciudad.
