SYNOPSIS:
Vincent is an average high school boy, a good student, and a star swimmer. With his best friend Stephane and his beautiful girlfriend Noemie, high school life couldn't be better for Vincent--until he meets Benjamin. Vincent keeps crossing paths with the new student, until the two finally have a private moment. The next day, Vincent's idyllic life begins to crumble when the school is vandalized with graffiti labeling him a "fag". As the people in his life respond to the news, Vincent faces the inherent challenge of adapting to life as a gay young man.

A star of his high school swim team, Vincent (Julien Bamgartner) has everything the average teenager could wish for: a gorgeous girlfriend, great buddies and a close family. However, something's bubbling up within that threatens this existence. Enter Benjamin (sexy Jeremie Elkaim from Come Undone) a mysterious new student who arrives with a reputation: homo. And when Vincent and Benjamin end up alone together, that reputation catches like cooties. Branded "fag" overnight (literally so on his locker), Vincent must deal with ugly fallout from a macho brother (who outs him during an unforgettable family dinner scene), his rightfully upset girlfriend, and his virulently homophobic swim team, who take to physically attacking him during practice.

Although far from an after-school special due to its sophisticated, realistic take on Vincent's transformation from deceptive hetero ideal to honest gay individual, You'll Get Over It was actually produced for French TV!
